Researchers in Norfolk to screen 10,000 people who are at high risk of type 2 diabetes
The project will involve identifying people who have prediabetes and assigning a mentor to support them. The mentors will advice on diet and lifestyle - as well as getting support themselves from professionals. The five year project is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
